J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!

So this is where the fun begins. Well, I've actually been in the naval aviation training pipeline for just under two years. I was commissioned in May of 2008, with the designation of student naval aviator, and reported to Naval Aviation Schools Command's Aviation Preflight Indoctrination at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida. From there I reported to NAS Corpus Christi, Texas to join the VT-28 Rangers for my primary flight training flying the T-34C Turbo Mentor. Finishing with a competitive grade, I was selected for the Tailhook pipeline, which brought me to my current squadron, The VT-22 Golden Eagles flying out of NAS Kingsville, Texas.

This page will take you with me as I experience the rigorous and exciting training required to fly in one of aviation's most elite and respected fraternities... the Tailhook community.
